Our N/ATION Review:

The idea for Rightside Brewing first came to founder Emree Woods in 2017 while she was pregnant with her daughter. One of many situations that are driving the growth of N/A beer, not having good options to drink during that stage of life compelled her to create Georgia’s first non-alcoholic brewery, launched in January of 2021. The company also donates 5% of its profits to sobriety-related efforts, so that everyone may have a chance to shine and find their bright side.

The Citrus Wheat N/A was the first of Rightside’s two initial brews, followed later by their American IPA. The first thing we noticed about the Citrus Wheat was its orange, golden color, and a fuller mouthfeel than many of the style can offer, especially of the non-alcoholic variety. The citrus is also evident quickly, with just a hint of spice in the finish. While many might find wheat beers more drinkable in the warmer months, this is clearly one that can stand up to the chilly, sweater-wearing months just as well as the summer ones.

Rightside Brewing’s beers are sold nationally through their website (at least where permitted by state law), and are otherwise a bit easier to find in the southeast U.S. where they’re based.
