Our N/ATION Review:

Many drinkers may identify with the Blue Moon brand as the gateway to craft beer, or at least as a part of the journey from drinking whatever one could get their hands on to a more refined beer palate. Launched in 1995, its light, refreshing taste is synonymous with hot summer days, and has remained a staple for years in the Miller Coors portfolio. And speaking of synonymous, it’s also hard to imagine drinking a Blue Moon without an orange slice either tucked into the bottle, or perhaps floating inside of your draft in a previously-frozen glass. As such, when word first leaked that an N/A sibling to the Belgian-style white wheat stalwart was in the works, it was met with great anticipation as one of the biggest new N/A releases of 2023.

Blue Moon Non-Alcoholic Beer

We admit to feeling some anticipation of our own after we got our hands on a six-pack at the local package store. Would it taste like the original, or be a disappointing copycat? At first glance it looked very much like the OG on the pour, with the same coloring and foam. Aroma seemed a little different to us, however, but not substantially. Perhaps a little less coriander than the alcoholic version, but still a close facsimile. First sip and mouthfeel immediately took us back to drinking Blue Moons out of a tall glass on a patio. Crisp and refreshing, with light hops and that familiar hint of orange peel on the finish. The ultimate crushable beer, now in an N/A version. And just like the original, don’t even think about serving one cold without some orange slices at the ready.

Available far and wide nationally, wherever Blue Moon beer is sold.
