Our N/ATION Review:

Brooklyn Brewery first launched an N/A beer in 2019 in, of all places, Sweden. It’s fair to say they are among the ‘leaded’ brewers who have leaned into the N/A beer trend, and we applaud them for it. Branded under the Special Effects line, their N/A offerings currently total three, and based on what’s on the market already, we look forward to more.

Straight from the pour, the Pilsner shows off a nice light, golden color. Just a little bit of hops ready to introduce themselves in the nose, with maybe a hint of some juicy sweetness. The taste is crisp and refreshing, like a picnic in the park. We can see ourselves reaching for one after throwing around the frisbee with the dog, or playing a round of catch with the kids. Solid mouthfeel for a pilsner really finish the flavor off.
