Our N/ATION Review:

Heck Brewing is a relative newcomer to the non-alcoholic craft beer scene, solely making NA brews from the beer mecca of Portland, Oregon. Recognizing the growing desire for flavorful, alcohol-free alternatives, Heck Brewing’s signature Silver Linings seeks to capture the essence of a classic West Coast IPA, promising a refreshing and satisfying brew for any occasion.

Silver Linings pours a golden, almost light amber, showcasing its hop-forward character. A frothy, off-white head forms and lingers, releasing a bouquet of citrus and tropical fruit aromas. The nose is inviting, with notes of spruce, citrus and pine, avoiding the metallic or overly sweet notes that can sometimes plague NA IPAs. The hop bitterness is assertive but balanced, providing a satisfying bite without being overwhelming. The citrus and tropical fruit flavors shine through, complemented by a subtle malt. If you’re looking for a taste of the PNW to enjoy after a hike, long bike ride, or anytime a hoppy craving strikes, you could do way worse than Silver Linings. And as of this writing if you find yourself visiting Portland at the iconic Hollywood Theatre, you can also enjoy some Silver Linings there.
