Bentonville’s Hawk Moth Brewery is moving unabashedly further into non-alcoholic offerings, carrying the torch for N/A beer in the state.

As non-alcoholic beer continues its relentless pursuit into the mainstream, we love a good pioneering story. Bentonville, Arkansas’ Hawk Moth Brewery is believed to serve the only homegrown N/A beer in the land of the Razorbacks, amidst a lineup of craft brews that also includes many full-alcohol cousins in this northwest corner of the state.

In the shadow of Walmart’s corporate headquarters located not far away (In 2023, Hawk Moth left their taproom in Rogers, AR, coincidentally the same town that was the site of the first Walmart store), the brewery in the past has produced both a barrel-aged non-alcoholic Stout called ‘The Pretender’, as well as an N/A Sour under ‘The Prestige’ label. New for 2024, they have recently announced ‘The Shakeout’, an N/A lager that will be the first of multiple N/A options the brewer expects to roll out this year, debuting alongside a returning version of their N/A stout.
