Our N/ATION Review:
We’ve been on a bit of a golden ale/golden lager kick these days, and no better place to sample another one than from Denver’s non-alcoholic power player, Gruvi / Spirit Free Beverage Company. With a one-two combination of award-winning N/A beers and non-alcoholic wines, there’s something for everyone in their portfolio of delicious alcohol free adult beverages. The Gruvi Way calls for full participation in life’s most joyous moments, and who are we to argue with that?
The Gruvi Golden Lager is a decorated N/A mainstay, having been awarded the gold medal for non-alcoholic beer at the 2022 World Beer Cup Awards. It's a light, crushable offering that at only 58 calories is made with intention to drink all day long as desired (did someone say #naallday?). Right on the pour we noticed a crisp carbonation reminiscent of one of Gruvi’s bubbly N/A wines. The crispness continues all the way through the mouthfeel, with just a subtle hint of honey for an easy finish.
So where can you get your Gruvi on? We found ours in a local AF bottle shop in the singles fridge, but Gruvi is available nationwide at beverage stores like Total Wine & More. If you can’t find it on a menu or in a beer store near you, you can also purchase directly from their website.
