Our N/ATION Review:
Kit NA (see what they did there?) hails from the beer mecca of Portland, Maine, the same city that brought us craft staple Allagash Brewing, as well as other New England beer trend setters like Bissell Brothers and Battery Steele Brewing. Founded in 2021, this non-alcoholic only brewery has come a long way in a short time, currently featuring a three beer lineup that includes the American Blonde (On Your Mark), along with an IPA (Get Set), and a Hazy IPA (Here We Go).
Our first impressions of the Blonde was that it had solid body for its style, which even in the leaded world can sometimes be a little thin on flavor. Certainly crushable, and won’t leave you tired if there is in fact a starting line in your near future. We definitely tasted the hop-forwardness, with subtle hints of grapefruit that came through. Like its counterparts, the American Blonde was crafted to remove gluten, and is vegan-friendly.
So where can you find some Kit? Available for purchase at outlets all over Portland for when you’re in the area to pay homage to New England beer culture, or from their website, on Amazon, and if you’re lucky, perhaps a bottle shop near you like where we found ours.
