Our N/ATION Review:

Hop Splash was the first foray into the non-alcoholic universe for this Chico, California (and Mills River, SC) craft beer giant, nearly two years before the launch of their now highly-popular Trail Pass series. Like other hop waters on the market, Hop Splash is intended to provide just a hint of beer flavor, in a crisp, refreshing, and hydrating beverage. Think of hop water as something you might consume after a workout, but before you reach for that first beer. It can also act as a nice alternator between beers if your goal is to decrease the effects of alcohol, and/or consume fewer calories.

This hop water is made from Citra and Amarillo hops, which are typically found in full-flavored craft beers such as juicy IPAs and pale ales. With a slight cloudiness in the glass, Hop Splash pours clean and bubbly into the glass. That familiar carbonation hitting your lips is reminiscent of a beer, but instead of a foamy, malty beverage, you instead get something much cleaner. As a standalone feature the hops are definitely evident, conjuring a grassy, piney flavor profile, along with subtle hints of citrus. Zero calories, zero alcohol, and just three ingredients - water, hops, and carbon dioxide, the latter of which aids in carbonation and can enhance hop character.

As for where you can find it, Hop Splash is broadly available across the U.S., including in stores ranging from Target to Sprouts.
