REVIEW: Unfazed Fiery Mango Jalapeno Sour
Unfazed (NA) Fiery Mango Jalapeno Sour

ABV: <0.5%
Hometown: Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Our N/ATION Review:
A new non-alcoholic line created by Pawtucket’s Smug Brewing, Unfazed aims to deliver the same great experience from their “leaded” beer into a non-alcoholic version. The Providence-area brewery was founded by a group of cousins with Portuguese roots, who embody the phrase “faz o relax”, which roughly translates to “get it together and chill.”
Since the original brewery is known for its sours, we were obviously curious to try one of their two initial sour NAs. On the pour, this exotic brew more closely resembles a glass of orange juice, heightening our anticipation for something different. After all, the non-alcoholic world has seen an explosion of sour and fruited beers on the market, which are very compatible with the sans alcohol format. If you like sweet and spice, this may be your (near) beer. With its sweet mango flavors combined with the subtle intensity of spicy peppers, the fiery mango jalapeno sour lived up to the billing, for a unique beverage brimming with flavor.
As for where you can find it, Unfazed is presumably available in the Smug taproom when supplies are available, but if you’re not in Rhode Island, it’s also available for nationwide shipping via its website as well.
