Our N/ATION Review:

Chicagoland-based Go Brewing is a newer player in the non-alcoholic beer scene, but with its rapid growth is quickly making up for lost time. When we sat down at the brewery with Founder/CEO Joe Chura for an episode of U.S. of N/A back in June, 2023, Go was in the midst of a flurry of moves that included expanding their original space, and taking on outside investment for their next phase of growth.

New School Sour Berry is part of the brand’s core offering, along with Sunshine State IPA and The Story Double IPA that are frequently found in grocery and specialty beverage stores in the growing number of states where Go Brewing has distribution. New School pours in a cloudy, deep rose-colored hue, like the wine but maybe a shade darker. At first sip, the strawberry feels dominant over the blueberry, but this beer is far from a fruit bomb. Instead, it’s more inline with a traditional craft sour you might find in the leaded world, which mirrors the brewery’s approach to making NA beers that can be indistinguishable from their full-alcohol counterparts. And with updated can art that really pops, this will fit right in alongside any other craft beer in the fridge, as well.
